Human papillomavirus vaccination coverage among working women

Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection is one of the causes cervical cancer which preventable. The study was a cross-sectional with objective to determine vaccination coverage among working women. A total 236 educated women were selected purposively from different places in Dhaka city. pretested semi- structured questionnaire used for data collection. knowledge assessed by using modified Blooms cut off points developed and vaccine related questions. result revealed that 71.2% knew about risk factor cancer. It found 92.8% way prevention respectively. overall on be having good 21.2%, satisfactory 41.9% poor 36.9%. Out only 5.1% had HPV coverage. Reason behind non vaccinations, 50% mentioned no vaccine, 35.3% can’t decide 8.9% high cost vaccine. Significant association has been observed between over all (p value .04). may concluded very low needs awareness program this issues through mass media, educational session, counseling so reduce human associated cancers as well economic burden.
